My Travel Story
Patrick Martinet started his career in the travel industry working at Nordair as an auditor. He quickly climbed the corporate ladder and soon became a sales representative. He then went to work at KLM for 18 years as a sales representative, Director of Sales in Montreal and eventually became Director of Sales Airport Services for all of Eastern Canada. In the mid-nineties, Patrick moved to France where he was appointed Vice President for Air Transat Vacations (France) and Look Voyages. Five years later, he returned to Canada where he held a position of National Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Air Transat Vacations. Patrick was also a Director General at Austrian Airlines Canada as well as Director General of ACTA Quebec.
Over the last few years, Patrick has worked for various wholesalers as a consultant. He settled in St. Lazare, Quebec 22 years ago, and eventually in July 2011, he acquired ownership of Voyages En Liberté Patrick Martinet, where he is currently President and Travel Counsellor.
Patrick Martinet specializes in tailor-made trips, fly and drive packages, groups, all leisure trips as well as weddings.
